How to Build Strong Abs - 3 Techniques




In order for you to build strong abs you first need to eat healthy and lose weight as well as exercise. There is no point in building abs but have a flab of fat over it. So before I even begin with the three techniques make sure you are skinny enough or you are losing weight at the same time that you are building your abs.

The first technique on how to build strong abs and probably the most common is the crunch. In order to do the crunch successfully, you have to lie on the floor while making sure you cross your arms. If you put your hands behind you head you will often have neck problems after the workout. This is because it puts stress on your head as well as your neck, which is not what you want. After you are in the position, raise your back off the floor and gently lower it back down. It is important to not raise your entire back as it might cause back pain in the future. You can also hold your back off the ground for long periods of time as this will give your abs a better workout.

The second technique is sit ups. Sit ups are basically the same as crunches except they require you to sit up all the way instead of just moving your back up a little bit. You also still need to keep your hands crossed in front of you to prevent neck stress. After this becomes a little easier try putting a weight of some sort on your chest. This will make it more difficult, but it will be more efficient in building strong abs.

The last technique on how to build strong abs is leg lifts. These are quite different from a sit up or a crunch. I also find them harder to do, but they work your lower abs which is the most common place for people to skip when they are trying to build strong abs. For this technique you need to lie on the floor, have you legs straight out and put your hands on your sides. Then lift your legs straight up with out bending your knees as far as you can. If you do this correctly, you will feel a burn in your lower abdomen. Like the sit ups, you can try putting a weight on your legs for a better workout.
